OpenClinica European Summit
The OpenClinica European Summit brings together users, developers, and other interested parties in a structured setting to share information about OpenClinica. Whether you're already using OpenClinica or considering it for future use, this event is an excellent way to obtain lots of high quality information quickly and interact with real users in the OpenClinica community.
The registration cost is €100 per person
The Summit is followed by optional training programs (see below for details).

Akaza Research is offering its most popular OpenClinica training courses immediately following the Summit. This is a great opportunity to receive formal instruction from the world's foremost OpenClinica experts. In addition, the courses foster knowledge sharing among attendees to make you an expert in utilizing OpenClinica in an optimal fashion.
| April 15-17 | OpenClinica Intensive End User | This course provides in-depth instruction to rapidly develop proficiency across all areas of OpenClinica. Topics include setting up studies, creating eCRFs, data entry/import, data extraction, query management, and administering other system and study assets. The course is oriented towards data managers and monitors and includes a printed OpenClinica User Manual. Class size limited to 25 students. Cost €2,650 |
| April 15 | System Administrator (Windows) | System Administrator training is a full-day course on OpenClinica system-level administration. Key topics include (i) the OpenClinica application stack, (ii) installation and configuration of the application and database, and (iii) common maintenance and troubleshooting tasks. Designed for IT administrators responsible for maintaining application performance and reliability. This course will be taught for the Windows and Postgres stack. Cost €1,450 |
| April 16 | System Administrator (Linux) | (Course is same as above, except it will be taught on the Linux and Postgres stack.) Cost €1,450 |
| April 16-18 | Developer Training | The Developer Training course provides a detailed introduction to the OpenClinica architecture, source code, and development approach, while providing advice and guidance specific to integration/architecture issues per the needs of course participants. Prior to the training session, instructor and Client will have a conference call to discuss the Client's software development priorities with OpenClinica. During the training, the instructor will make recommendations pertaining to key architectural decisions and development environment configuration and processes. Cost €2,950 |
| April 18 | Advanced eCRF | This course teaches advanced aspects of configuring and working with electronic CRFs in OpenClinica. The course provides hands-on instruction and exercises related to cross field/form edit checks, calculated values/scored fields, and advanced eCRF user interface design. A suggested prerequisite for this course is completion of the Intensive End-User Training. Class size limited to 15 students. Cost €1,350 |
Note: If you sign up for a training class, you must bring your own laptop. Please let us know in advance if you do not have a laptop, as a limited supply of extra laptops will be available.
Training courses will also be held at the Bedford Hotel & Congress Centre.

Cancellation and Refund Policy - Training Only
A 75% refund will be given for cancellations more than 4 weeks before course date. 50% refund for cancellation between 2 and 4 weeks before course date. No credit will be given for cancellations less than 2 weeks prior to course date.
